This page is dedicated to the blessed souls that go missing every year and their families.
In my book, A Measure of Kindness, the mystery is about a girl that goes missing and is not discovered for thirty years.

Going West is a podcast that discusses cases of missing and murdered people. It is hosted by Daphne Woolsoncroft and Heath Merryman. It can be accessed at www.goingwestpod.com and can be found anywhere you may listen to podcast; they also encourage emails be sent to them if there is a case you would like to hear about; their email address is on their website.
Since I first published my website, I have found other truc crime podcasts. One I particularly like is Crime Junkie. It was started by a woman named Ashley Flowers and she has a great story. She has grown her business to include many other podcasts. The ones I listen to have almost a spirituality about them whereas they treat the victim delicately and out of concern for their family give only the facts as they are able to learn them. I have come to appreciate these hard working podcasters.
Dateline on NBC is a show that is used in the book, A Measure of Kindness, to bring families of strangers together. Of course in the book it is totally fiction and I may have taken some liberties in the way it was developed. I will admit here that I have never been a producer, cameraperson or director. I hope the reader will still understand the significance of using a well known TV show helps to bring attention to missing and murdered persons. Their website is www.nbc.com

Last but not least, a BIG Shout Out and Thank You to all of the internet sleuths that care enough to spend hours doing research that helps law enforcement. You are the heroes we all need.
